This colourful folk prize fun above all else, and believe there are few problems that can't be solved with a healthy dose of jollity.

It's not all about laughter, though--they're seriously skilled in the magical arts, and excel at craftsmanship, though they are less gifted as warriors. They believe that life is short, so we might as well have fun.

Poppet (プクリポ, Pukulipo) is a race that can be chosen for the player's character in Dragon Quest X. Unlike the other races in the game, which are taken from real world mythology, the Poppets are a wholly original race. Prior to the version 3.2 update, poppets boasted the highest MP and Magical Might of all races, as well as a 20% resistance to light attacks.

After starting out as a Human, the player may become this race or any of the other four races, including Elf, Dwarf, Ogre or Wetling.
