Sacrosanct armour
The Sacrosanct armour, also known as the Über sacred armour, is a recurring set of armour in the Dragon Quest series. It is a more protective version of the sacred armour, restoring HP to the wearer in battle at the end of each turn.

CharacteristicsEdit
In its original appearance, the sacrosanct armour has a near-identical appearance to the sacred armour, being a delicate set of golden and silver filigree armour decorated with green gemstones. Compared to the sacred armour, the gold filigree on the chest has been polished to a high sheen and various runes have been inscribed into the faulds. The über sacred armour has a completely different colour scheme, with light blue filigree, blue gemstones on the shoulders and waist, and smaller red gemstones on the front of the waistguard.

The Über sacred armour appears exclusively in the Nintendo 3DS version of the game. It has a Defence bonus of +92, restores 30 HP at the end of each turn, and can only be equipped by the Hero and Angelo, like the sacred armour. It can only be made using the Alchemy Pot and can be sold for 15,000 gold, but it is not recommended to do so as only one set of sacred armour can be acquired. The enhanced version only increases in Defence, not the amount of HP restored each turn.
