| The '''Metal Slime''' is a monster that originated in the first [[Dragon Warrior]]. Like the name suggests the metal slime is a [[slime]] that is metal. These slimes give you lots of experience points when defeated. They have extremely high defense and evasion but only have 4 HP and are weak in offense as they are limited to normal attacks and the low level [[hurt]] spell. These slimes also like to run away during battle ruining your chances of getting their experience points.
