Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark PrinceEdit
Travelite is what allows Rosehill Tower to travel through Terrestria and Nadiria. Each piece is placed into a magic circle on the third floor, which is charged by an elfish ceremonial dance performed by Rose. Every piece of travelite has a distinct colour, and are obtained through the following means:
- Red travelite: given to Psaro by Furgil after winning Category F of the Endor Tournament.
- Yellow travelite: awarded to Psaro upon winning Category G in the Maulosseum.
- Green travelite: formerly owned by Gnorbet the fat rat, but stolen by Toilen Trubble. Given to Psaro after Bernie is defeated.
- Indigo travelite: given to Psaro by Dr. Helix Helix after winning Category E in the Maulosseum.
- Pink travelite: formerly owned by Zangiel the Omniarch and given to Psaro by Gaureen.
- Purple travelite: given to Psaro by Percival following the conclusion of the humans-only tournament in Endor.
- Silver travelite: given to Psaro by Dr. Helix Helix in exchange for the Armlet of Transmutation.
- Gold travelite: given to Psaro by Toilen once the two reconcile, which he had purchased for a hefty sum in his travels.
- Black travelite: given to Psaro by Ludo after he conquers the Circles of Temper, Indulgence, and Fortitude.
- White travelite: created by the Queen of El Zetta after conquering the Circle of Caprice
- Rainbow travelite: given to Psaro by Ludo at the beginning of the post-game.
During the climax at the Circle of Caprice, it is revealed that the travelite Psaro uses are but mere fragments of a giant crystal. This crystal was created in the ancient past by the El Zettian elves as the condensed form of their sorcery to manipulate space, and had a sister crystal in the form of chronocite. The awesome power of these crystals caught the eye of Aamon, who led his army against El Zetta to steal them and curse the elves to do his bidding. Aamon seemingly makes use of the larger crystal throughout the game as he demonstrates several distinct spacial feats, such as projecting a vision of himself to speak to Psaro at a distance, remaining airborne to watch the siege on the Hidden Valley, and teleporting away to save himself from certain death. That being said, some elves were able to escape his army and slipped away from El Zetta with the smaller gems, however, presumably denying Aamon access to the full power of the original crystal.
