The Prancing pillar (formerly ColumnMan) is a monster in the game Dragon Quest VII. It can found in El Monumento de Pomposo as a forced battle and regularly in the World's Tallest Tower.

Characteristics
Massively monstrous powerful pillars that ambush adventurers, waving their flaming firey sconces that they swing to sear opponents with. They also fling fire at foes with Frizz and their wild weird dances deftly drain the magic straight out of stunned onlookers, leaving parties of adventurers more vulnerable.
