Purrcival debuted as a free rank-A unit in the "Spring Training! Train with Lt Goresby-Purrvis" Event, and was introduced in the game alongside Lt Goresby-Purrvis and Cherreevil blossom. Purrcival can be obtained after finishing the third stage of the event. He can participate in the Purrcival Road, and all 10 Spring Command Exams.
