The leather trousers are a recurring pair of leggings in the Dragon Quest series. It is the legwear counterpart to the leather armour, being a piece of light armour that is worn near the beginning of the game.

The leather trousers have a defence bonus of +2, a style bonus of +1, and increase the wearer's Weight by 5. It can be crafted with tailoring and can be equipped by many vocations.
- In the Offline version of the game, the leather trousers also include a pair of boots.
Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai: A Hero's Bonds[edit]
The leather trousers are a 1★ piece of leg armour that can be equipped by Hero and Warrior characters. It is a starter piece of equipment and can occasionally be acquired from free Treasure Hunts.
