Slimer is a recurring talent in the Dragon Quest series, introduced in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker. It teaches various skills suitable for slimes.

Slimer is one of the skill trees of a Slime monster companion. It teaches various recovery and support spells.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker

Slimer is learned by the Slime, Bubble slime, Drake slime, and Metal slime. It grants the following abilities:

Slimer is now also learned by the Slime X. Its abilities remain unchanged.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince

Slimer can be learned once again by Slimes and Bubble slimes.

Ability Skill Points Description
Frizz 3 Inflicts minor fire-elemental spell damage on a single enemy.
Heal 10 Restores 28 or more HP to a single ally.
Slime Squisher 20 Inflicts heavy impact damage on monsters in the slime family.
Zap 30 Inflicts minor electrical spell damage on a single enemy.
Accelerate 50 Greatly increases the agility of a single ally for 4 to 7 turns.
Dazzleflash 70 Unleashes a blinding light that lowers the accuracy of enemy attacks for 2 to 5 turns.
Midheal 85 Restores 76 or more HP to a single ally.
Auto-Restora 100 Restores a small amount of HP after each action.
