The boreal serpent is an icy recolor of the ethereal serpent dragon encountered earlier in the game. Boreal serpents can be found on the icy overworld continent of Leiamland as well as in the overworld approach to Baramos' Lair and within the Palace of Baramos.

The boreal serpent is a Rank E monster in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2. One can synthesized by mixing a wild slime and a great sabrecub.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 Professional
