Archie is a traveling merchant and scholar whose main motive is to advance his pocketbook. As such, he has a scholarly appearance. He is always wearing a backpack. Archie leaves no stone unturned as he strives to learn everything about monsters. He is usually found examining dusty old tomes, ruins, and more on his quest for knowledge.

==Crisis==
After the crash of the [[Albatross]], Archie is missing. No sooner do the Hero and [[Rory Bellows]] locate him in [[Treepidation]] than Rory is swallowed by the [[Wormonger|wormonger]].
