AppearancesEdit

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of SalvationEdit

The armor is hidden away in the fourth floor of the Tower of Rubiss, and equipping it will increase the Hero's defence by +82 (+75 in the NES version), reduce damage taken from the elements by 33%, and restore one HP per step. It is unknown why Zoma did not destroy the armor as he did with the Sword of Kings, though it is possible that he was unable to do so thanks to its incredible durability and opted to hide it away instead.

Dragon Quest SwordsEdit

The armour is the reward for defeating Nomeg in the Olde Reflectory during the post-game. When worn it increases {Hero (Dragon Quest Swords)|Blade's]] defence by +88 and reduces Fire, Ice, & Lightning damage by 30%.

Dragon Quest BuildersEdit

The auroral armour increases the defence of the Builder by +30 when equipped, plus prevents damage from poison and lava. It needs to be crafted in a furnace with the recipe of 3 zenithium + 1 ruby + 1 gold + 2 orichalcum + 2 finest fur. Crafting this item is one of the main goals of the final chapter.

Dragon Quest Builders 2Edit

The recipe for crafting the armour is learned in Malhalla. It will increase the Builder's defence by +30, reduces elemental damage, and invalidates the effects of poison, lava, and paralysis.

TriviaEdit

  • Being from a lower world with no knowledge of the mythical phoenix, the armour does not bear Ramia's emblem until it is claimed by Erdrick. This detail is usually omitted in spin-off games.
