The Bandit mail is an armour that appears in Dragon Quest VIII and Dragon Quest XI. It appears to be a suit of unknown, bronze-coloured plates covered in animal fur that has been dyed green for camouflage to aid the robber in getting the drop on their mark.

The bandit mail is a special armour for Yangus, providing defence bonus of +80. It can also be bought for 13000 G at Empycchu and Dark Empycchu and sold for 6500 G.
