The beast claws, also known as the beast claw, are a recurring set of claws in the Dragon Quest series. They are a powerful, high-level weapon designed for martial artists and other brawlers. They inflict more damage to creatures of the Beast family.

Appearances

Dragon Quest III

The beast claws have an attack bonus of +95 and can only be equipped by Martial Artists and Thieves. They are the strongest set of claws in the game and only appear in remake versions. The beast claws can be found in Theddon underneath the cross, but only after receiving the first riddle from the riddle master in Cloudsgate Citadel. They can be sold for 412 gold, but it is not recommended to do so as there is only one set in the game.

Dragon Quest VII

The beast claws have an attack bonus of +95 and a style bonus of +25. They can only be equipped by Ruff and are dropped by Gnuriels.

Dragon Quest VIII

The beast claw has an attack bonus of +81 and inflicts 1.3 times damage on members of the Beast family. It only appear in the 3DS version and can be equipped by Morrie. The beast claw is dropped by Sir Leopold. It can be upgraded into the beast talon by combining it with an ethereal stone in the Alchemy Pot.
