Black pepper

Black Pepper is a quest-related item in Dragon Quest III. It is required before the hero can obtain a ship.

Location

Black Pepper can only be obtained in Baharata. However, in order to obtain it, the hero must first confront Kandar for the second time in order to free the shopkeeper's daughter. Afterward, the Black Pepper is given to the hero.

By giving the Black Pepper to the king of Portoga, the hero can obtain the ship.
