The Bloody manguini is a monster in Dragon Quest IX.
Characteristics
The bloody manguini are slim, human-sized red-colored demons with large bat wings. They have a thin tail and long sharp nail on both their hands and feet. Their head is very bone-like and it's shape resembles that of a sanguini with no fur. They have yellow eyes, enormous jaws and a grey tongue.
Pink sanguinis can mature into these nightmarish creatures if they sleep after stuffing themselves with blood from their preys.

Trivia
Sanguinis and their transformation from fluffy creatures into horrific scaly demons appears to be inspired the 1984 movie Gremlins.
