The Candy cat is a monster introduced in Dragon Quest VIII. It is a fat, striped cat encountered early in the game.
Characteristics
Candy cats are very large cats with white fur and orange stripes. Their name is derived from their striped fur, which gives it the appearance of a candy cane. They have goofy faces, a long tongue which is often seen trailing behind their permanently open mouths, and a tuft of orange fur on top of their heads. They are quite harmless on their own, sometimes wasting their turn in battle in order to lick their face or roll around.
