Central Island is a location in Dragon Quest IV. Like its name implies, it is a small island towards the geographic centre of the world map. As the site of the endgame, it is surrounded by shoals and cannot be accessed until the player acquires the balloon and can fly to it.
Central Island encompasses The Azimuth, Baron's Folly, a small shrine where the Baron's Bugle can be obtained, the Stairway to Zenithia, and the entrance to Nadiria.
