The Cruelcumber and their cousins are tribal looking [[Nature family|vegetables]] with deranged smiles, their tongues flailing about as they fight. Interestingly, a bit of dishwater blonde hair extends from the tip of their stem, giving them a look reminiscent of the ''Chonmage'', a traditional Japanese topknot hairstyle.

The Cruelcumber is a recurring monster that made its debut in Dragon Quest IX.

Characteristics

The Cruelcumber and their cousins are tribal looking vegetables with deranged smiles, their tongues flailing about as they fight.
