The Cumaulus is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest III, it is a grey cloud come to life.
Characteristics
Cumauluses are small grey clouds with sinister human faces on them, capable of floating around like normal clouds. Its puffy features give the cloud's face the appearance of having chubby cheeks. They are also capable of dispersing their entire bodies and reforming them in order to attack. While not particularly powerful on their own, they can quickly become nuisances since they appear in large groups and can attack foes with fire magic.
