Demon Demeaner is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in the Monsters series of games. It deals heavy damage to monsters of the Demon family. It likely influenced the creation of the Beelzefreeze and Devil’s Delight skills in the main games.

Dragon Quest Monsters

DevilCut requires the monster to reach level 12 with 64 max HP, 58 Attack, 62 Agility, and 48 Intelligence. It can be learned naturally by HornBeet, Rayburn, Reaper, and SabreMan. It costs 3 MP to use and deals 1.5 times more damage to demons.

Dragon Quest Monsters 2

The Intelligence requirement to learn DevilCut changed to 87. It can now also be learned by Serpentia and Sickler.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2

Demon Demeanor now costs 2 MP and deals an extra 35% damage to members of the Demon family. It can be learned from:

Torneko: The Last Hope

DevilCut appears as a special sword skill that deals double damage to monsters of the Demon family and costs 2 Hunger to use. The condition for learning it is by killing 5 monsters of the Demon family on the same floor.

Dragon Quest Tact

Demon Demeaner can be learned by Tigercub at level 16 and Crabber dabber doo at level 38. It costs 17 MP to use and inflicts 270% potency physical damage to demons and 135% potency physical damage to all other families. It can also be taught to any unit by using an ability scroll, which can be purchased in the Arena Medal Swap Shop for 500 medals or the limited Dragon Quest VI Medal Swap Shop for 1,500 medals.
