The Drooling ghoul is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest IV.

CharacteristicsEdit
Drooling ghouls are small humanoid creatures with grey skin and a tough dark grey hide that covers its head and most of its body. Its most notable characteristic is its long tongue sticking out of its mouth that reaches down to its legs. They have long pointy ears and their eyes are constantly shut. With their wiry limbs, the ghouls can make rapid scratching attacks that are capable of inflicting paralysis and they are also capable of dividing themselves to bolster their numbers.

Drooling ghoul appears as a D-rank monster of the Undead family. It can be recruited from Chapter 5-3, 5-6, 5-7, 7-3, 11-8, and 14-6 of the main storyline, as well as the Valentine Event Super Training Quest at Beginner, Advanced, and Hell difficulties. It can participate in the Battle Roads of the Ghost, Patissier knight, and Maam as a party member.
