Seismic Shock

From Dragon Quest Wiki
(Redirected from Earthly Rage)

Seismic Shock, also known as Earthly Rage, is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series. It is a skill commonly associated with Atlas and his variants where they slam their clubs into the ground to drive up jagged pillars from the earth to damage opponents and knock them down.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest X[edit]

Seismic Shock is an enemy-only skill used by Atlas and other monsters. It inflicts around 130% of its normal attack damage and has a chance to knock down any characters in an area of effect centered around it.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit]

Seismic Shock appears once again as an enemy-only skill used by Golden goliath, Tweedledoom, and Tweedledeath. In this game, it is an enhanced version of the Stomp skill, inflicting earth-elemental damage to the entire party and having a chance to make them stumble and fall. The amount of damage is dependent on the user.

Monster Damage range
Golden goliath 100~120
Tweedledoom and Tweedledeath 160~180

Dragon Quest: Monster Battle[edit]

Seismic Shock is a skill that can be used by Gold golem. It slams the ground in front of it in order to damage all enemies.

Dragon Quest Tact[edit]

Known as Earthly Rage in this game, it can be learned by Golden goliath at level 44 and costs 68 MP to use. It inflicts 250% potency physical damage and has a chance to bind all enemies in a rhombus-shaped area of effect around it. Upgrading the skill increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to use.
