The Falcon Knife Earrings (or simply Falcon Knife, also called Needle Earrings) is a recurring weapon in the Dragon Quest franchise. Like its larger variant, the falcon knife earrings attack twice per turn. However, they can only be wielded by female characters in most installments, and possess a lower attack bonus. To compensate for this, both strikes can be amplified by oomph and focus strength, and do not suffer the percentage reduction of the sword.

Dragon Quest IV
The falcon knife earrings have an attack bonus of +5, but strikes twice per round. It can only be wielded by female characters. When equipped by Alena, both strikes have an equal chance of being critical hits.
Dragon Quest V
The falcon knife earrings have an attack bonus of +35. It can be purchased as a casino prize for 10,000 tokens. It can only be wielded by female human characters and slime companions.
