Dragon Quest VI
Follow Suit is learned by Spot at level 9. Other characters can learn this by advancing to rank 7 of the Gadabout vocation.
Dragon Quest VII
Retaliate is a hybrid ability learned by advancing to rank 5 as a Martial Artist or Gadabout immediately after completing them. Maribel also learns Retaliate at level 5 in the PS1 version.
