Fowleye is a boss in Dragon Quest IX, found in higher-level grottos.

Fowleye is considerably more dangerous than Elusid, owing chiefly to having a 100% critical hit rate with his spells and being able to use Disruptive Wave.

His attack spells are Kaswoosh and Kazam, and he has the Divine Intervention ability. When he uses Bounce, knock it down with your own Disruptive Wave - he takes extra damage from fire, and you don't want your mage to eat their own Kafrizzle.

The Forbearance - Magic Mirror combination could be useful, but Disruptive Wave will cancel your Magic Mirror. If you can get a Fowleye map at all, it's probably less trouble to just have your healer use Multiheal every round while your tanking character beats on the boss with attack moves.

The reflective torso pieces (mirror armor, catoptric armor, twinkling tuxedo, shimmering dress) may help to some extent, as may resistance gear.
