Buuuuuurp!

The Frostburn (originally Blizzard) is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest II, it is a blue, icy variant of the Dancing Flame.

Characteristics

Frostburns appear to be Dancing Flames made out of blue fire. This would technically make them hotter than Dancing Flames, though it is to be assumed that they are super-frigid entities with a fiery countenance.

Like the Dancing Flames' power over fire, the Frostburns' power over ice is also great. Additionally, and unfortunately, they are normally adept at instant-death magic, making them a considerable threat when encountered as a group.
