Fuddle Dance is an ability which attempts to confuse an enemy group.

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen

Fuddle Dance is used by Foo Yung in the remakes. This is an incredibly dangerous as it targets the entire party instead of just one character like the spell.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation

Fuddle Dance is learned by advancing to rank 4 of the Dancer vocation.

It is used by the enemies grrrgoyles, cutterflies, and the First Test.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past

Fuddle Dance can be learned this time by advancing to rank 7 of the Dancer vocation (6 in the Nintendo 3DS version).

It can be used by the enemies oligarchaeopteryxes, monarchaeopteryxes, discombombulators, and trickstars.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King

Fuddle Dance appears as an enemy-only skill that can be used by night foxes and tap devils.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies

Used as a dance by certain enemies like the bloody manguini.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age

Fuddle Dance can be learned by Sylvando through the Showmanship panel of his character builder for 12 skill points. It costs 8 MP to use and has a 50% chance to inflict confusion on all enemies for 3~6 turns. It can also be used once again by Tap devils.

Dragon Quest Monsters

Called PaniDance in this game, this ability can be learned by a variety of monsters. It requires the monster to reach at least level 13 with at least 74 HP, 78 Agility, and 78 Intelligence. It is naturally learned by the FunkyBird and Skullroo, among others.

Dragon Quest Monsters 2

PaniDance now requires 141 Intelligence to learn. Is is naturally learned by the Octoreach, among others.
