The Great helm is a recurring helmet in the Dragon Quest series that debuted in Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride. In most of its appearances, it is one of the most defensive helmets in the game.

The Great helm has a Defence bonus of +45. The Hero and Warriors can equip them. They can be sold for 26,250 Gold Coins and bought for 35,000.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride

The Great helm has a Defence bonus of +45. It can be bought for 20,000 Gold Coins in Precaria. The Hero, his son, Sancho, and Tuppence can equip it.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation

The Great helm has a Defence bonus of +50 and a style bonus of +30, but it can be upgraded to have a style bonus of +47. The Hero, Carver, Amos, Terry, Lizzie, and Goowain can equip it. It can be bought in Greedmore Valley for 25,000 Gold Coins and sold for 18,750 or 22,500 once it has be upgraded.
