Iron nail is a recurring alchemy ingredient. Often used for scrap metal.In Dragon Quest VIII Canniboxes,Clockwork cuckoos, Iron scorpions, Magic marionettes, Mimics, Mimic kings, and Robo-robins drop them. One can also be found in a cabinet at the Ruined Abbey and Peregrin Quay. In Dragon Quest IX, they are common drops from Clockwork cuckoos, Killing machines, and Shocktopus.
