Appearances

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation

Kacrackle Slash deals melee damage modified by the target's resistance to Crack, with the possible modifiers being 130%, 115%, 75%, and 30%. It can be learned by advancing to rank 5 of the Armamentalist vocation.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past

Kacrackle Slash is functionally identical and learned in the same way as in the previous game. It can also be learned at rank 5 of the Ersatz Estark vocation. In the 3DS version, it is also learned at rank 2 of the Hero vocation.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King

Kacrackle Slash is an enemy-only skill that is used by various enemies, including Killing machines, Zombie gladiators, and Demonriders.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies

Kacrackle Slash is used by the icy Brrearthenwarriors as well as killing machines once again and Goresby-Purrvis. Though players cannot directly use it themselves, the Armamentalist's Frost Fource skill is practically identical.

Dragon Quest X

Kacrackle Slash once again remains an enemy-only skill that can be used by Killing machines, Zombie gladiators, and Goresby-Purrvis. A monster companion Killing machine can learn the skill True Kacrackle Slash by investing 40 skill points into their Fencing skill. It costs 7 MP to use and inflicts 250% ice damage to a single enemy.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age

Kacrackle Slash remains an enemy-only ability, dealing 150% damage to a character.

Dragon Quest Monsters

IceSlash is a normal attack that deals increased damage based on the target's ice resistance. It can be learned by Blizzardy, GreatDrak, Skullgon, TailEater, and Yeti as long as it has 77 HP, 34 MP, 66 Attack, 60 Agility, and 42 Intelligence. IceSlash can also be learned by any monster that knows both the ChargeUp and SnowStorm skills.

Dragon Quest Monsters 2

IceSlash now requires 76 intelligence to learn. It is naturally learned by the Bubblemon.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker

Frost Slash and Blizzard Slash are skills that can be learned by various monsters. Frost Slash costs 1 MP to use and can be learned from the Bang & Crack, Bang & Crack II, Crack & Zam, Crack & Zam II, Crack & Zap, Crack & Zap II, Darklight Slashes, Diamagon, Ice, Ice II, Icemeister, Iceplosion Slashes, Woosh & Crack, and Woosh & Crack II skillsets. Blizzard Slash costs 4 MP to use and can be learned from the Bang & Crack III, Crack & Zam III, Crack & Zap III, Darklight Slashes, Diamagon II, Ice III, Icemeister, Iceplosion Slashes, Uber Blessed Blizzardier, Uber Knight, and Woosh & Crack III skillsets.

Dragon Quest Heroes

Kacrackle Slash appears as an enemy-only skill that, naturally, can be used by Killing machines. This enchants their swords with ice.

Dragon Quest Walk

Kacrackle Slash can be learned by Armamentalists at level 11 and can also be used by equipping certain swords such as the Okeanos Sword. It costs 3 MP to use and inflicts 130% potency Crack-elemental slashing damage to a single enemy.

Dragon Quest Tact

Kacrackle Slash can be learned by Killing machine at level 51, as well as Slime knight through Talent Blossoming. It costs 38 MP to use and inflicts 270% Crack-type physical damage to a single enemy. Upgrading the ability increases its damage and reduces the MP it costs to use.
