Laissez Fayre (Monbaraba, モンバーバラ, Monbabara, probably supposed to be Mont Barbara) is a location in Dragon Quest IV, the place where the fourth chapter starts. It consists mainly of a huge theater with the usual shops and an eatery around it.
Synopsis
Sisters Maya and Meena Mahabala worked in the town respectively as a dancer and fortuneteller, in the hopes of learning the whereabouts of Balzack, the man who killed their father Mahabala. Eventually they decide to travel in hopes of finding him.
Sometime later, Tom Foolery worked at the town theater telling jokes to the audience, only to leave when the Hero seeks his assistance in gaining the Zenithian helm from the King of Canalot.
After the defeat of Balzack, Marquis de Léon & Psaro the Manslayer (Aamon in Chapter 6), the sisters resume working in town.
