Leather dress

The Leather dress is a recurring piece of clothing in the Dragon Quest series, first introduced in Dragon Quest IV. It is usually the first piece of equipment that can be exclusively worn by female characters.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of SalvationEdit

The Leather dress has a Defence bonus of +15. It can be worn by any vocation as long as they are female. It can be purchased in Khoryv for 420 gold coins and sold for 315 gold coins. One can also be found in a treasure chest at the Underground Lake in B3F. It only appears in remake versions of the game.

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the ChosenEdit

The Leather dress has a defence bonus of +14. It can be worn by the female Hero, Alena, Meena, and Maya. It can be purchased for 250 gold from Laissez Fayre, Aubout du Monde, Havre Léon, and Femiscyra and sold for 187 gold. In remake versions of the game, one can be found in a chest of drawers in Femiscyra.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly BrideEdit

The Leather dress has a defence bonus of +17 and can only be equipped by Bianca, Nera, Debora, and Madchen. It can be purchased for 380 gold at Roundbeck and sold for 190 gold. It is also part of Bianca's initial equipment when she joins as an adult.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of RevelationEdit

The Leather dress has a defence bonus of +17 and a Style bonus of +15. It can be purchased for 380 gold in Port Haven and sold for 285 gold coins. Only Milly and Ashlynn can equip it.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten PastEdit

The Leather dress has a defence bonus of +18 and a style bonus of +15. Both Maribel and Aishe can wear it. It can be bought for 680 gold coins and sold for 450 gold coins. It can be purchased Emberdale once the Flaming Festival begins and also in the general store in the present Emberdale, as well as Frobisher. One can be found in a dresser in Nottagen in the present.

Leather dresses can also be won as prizes from the Lucky Panel at the Casino.

The Leather dress has a defence bonus of +15 and can only be worn by Jessica and Red. It can be purchased for 380 gold coins in Ascantha and sold for 190 gold coins. One can be found in a dresser in Arcadia and it can also be made in the Alchemy Pot.
