List of accessories in Dragon Quest Builders

List of accessories available in the first Dragon Quest Builders game. The 2022 smartphone port adds two additional accessories for Terra Incognita.

DetailsEdit

Since the chest and monster availability depends on the chapter and island, some more specifications are needed for the accessories obtained from chests and monsters.

Chapter 1: CantlinEdit

  Dragon scale: Obtained from the Green Dragon in Hammerhood Heights. The dragon is northeast from the old fortress.

  Featherfall footwear: Can be found in a chest inside the pyramid in the Damdara desert. In the lower floor, one of the walls is made of dirt and thus destroyable. The chest is found by exploring the hidden area.

  Talaria: To get them, the builder needs to find the remains of a man inside a cave, and place a dirt block and a tombstone on top of his bones. The man's ghost will then appear and gift them to the builder in gratitude. The exact location of the cave changes from savefile to savefile, but it's always in a cave in the area around the ruined fortress in the Hammerhood Heights.

Chapter 2: RimuldarEdit

  Dragon scale: Dropped by the Blue Dragon who guards the holyhock in the Holy Sanctum.

  Featherfall footwear: They are located in a chest inside a locked room in the central area of the Prickly wilds.

  Gold ring: The ring can be found in a chest at the roof of the tearwolves temple in the western side of the Prickly wilds.

  Ring of clarity: The leader of the tearwolves temple will teach the Builder how to make Defuddle drops upon talking to them, and if they use one drop on the beast, it will reward the builder with a ring of clarity. Alternatively, it can be crafted.

  Ring of criticality: It is inside a locked room in the west of the swamp in the Ancient Palace.

Chapter 3: Kol & GalenholmEdit

  Dragon scale: Dropped by the Green Dragon in the southmost part of the Bleak and Burning Badlands.

  Featherfall footwear: At the roof of the tower in the north (east) area of the Island of Ice.

  Gold ring: Buried seven blocks north and 33 blocks east from the largest cactus in the Bleak and Burning Badlands.

  Ring of awakening: Dropped by a Cannibox in the prison where Barbella is kept in the Island of Lava.

  Ring of criticality: Obtained as a gift from a Gigantes in the Island of Ice. She is south from the red teleportal. First the builder needs to destroy the fortress blocks the Gigantes can't break with the help of Hela's hammer, and then feed the cyclops some pancakes.

  Ruby of protection: Dropped by a Cannibox near the prison where Barbella is kept in the Island of Lava, the Boss Troll needs to be defeated in order to access it.

  Steel sabatons: In a chest in the prison near where Barbella is kept in the Island of Lava, protected by a Boss Troll.

  Strength ring: A chest in the prison where Barbella is kept in the Island of Lava.

Chapter 4: TantegelEdit

  Gold ring: Inside a chest hidden behind ash blocks inside the cave where the Diviner’s altar was.

  Ring of criticality: In the dungeon south of Myrland’s camp, in the lowest floor. This dungeon also contains the cursed equipment.

  Ruby of protection: In a chest inside Charlock Castle, guarded by a Red Dragon.

  Steel sabatons: Inside the "New Tantegel Castle", The chest next to the one containing the Banner of Hope contains them.

  Strength ring: Recieved from The Princess after reclaiming the Banner of Hope.
