An attack that can damage enemies with metal bodies. It deals one extra point of damage, and requires 13 skill points to learn.

This move deals 25% more damage than a normal blow and heals the user for 1/4th of the damage dealt. It requires 4 mp to use and 35 skill points to learn.

The following are Sword skills in Dragon Quest IX. Sword skills can be learned via Minstrel, Warrior, Thief, Gladiator, and Armamentalist classes.

Dragon Slash[edit]

An attack that deals 50% more damage to dragons. Requires 3 skill points to learn.

Metal Slash[edit]

An attack that can damage enemies with metal bodies. It deals one extra point of damage, and requires 13 skill points to learn.

Miracle Slash[edit]

This move deals 25% more damage than a normal blow and heals the user for 1/4th of the damage dealt. It requires 4 mp to use and 35 skill points to learn.
