The following are Sword skills in Dragon Quest IX. Sword skills are available to the Minstrel, Warrior, Thief, Gladiator, and Armamentalist classes.
Dragon Slash
An attack that deals heavy damage to dragons
Metal Slash
An attack that can damage enemies with metal bodies
Miracle Slash
Heals the users's own wounds when it hits.
Falcon Slash
A double slicing attack, faster than a falcon on the wing.
Gigaslash
A technique for cutting down a group of enemies.
Omnivocational Swordmaster
this means you can use these sword skills with any vocation.
