Lonely Coast is a region in Dragon Quest IX.

It is the coast located to the east of Bloomingdale on the southeastern continent. However, it is only accessible through ship by embarking on the east beach of the region.

Surroundings

• Lonely Plains are due west of the coast
• Bloomingdale is located far southwest of the coast
• Dourbridge is located northwest of the coast
• Slurry Coast and the Slurry Quay are located far northwest of the coast
• Pluvi Isle is northeast of the region

Within the region

• A high plateau to the west of the coast. It is only accessible via flight.
• A cave in the far north of the region. Some merchants have taken up residence there.
