The Real World is an overworld in Dragon Quest VI. The Undersea portion can be explored later by ship with the use of Lorelei's harp.
Story
The Hero first comes upon this world after falling into a pit to save the crown maker from Haggleton, though he would return to this world again countless times for the mission to stop Murdaw.
Those who enter this world from the Upper World are first invisible to residents of this world, and remain so unless they use the upgraded Dream dew.
