The Malleable mask is a piece of headwear introduced in Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies. It is a beautiful mask designed in the shape of a butterfly that protects the wearer from becoming paralyzed, making it and its upgrades the armour counterpart to the poison moth knife.
