The Mandarin dress is a piece of clothing introduced in the 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII. It is an Eastern-inspired garment that provides a significant boost to the wearer's agility and max. HP.
Details
The Mandarin dress has a defence bonus of +108, an agility bonus of +200, and increases max. HP by 100. It can only be equipped by Red and is changes her appearance when worn. It can be sold for 14,400 gold but it is not recommended to do so as there is only one in the game. The dress is received as a reward from Princess Minnie after turning in 133 mini medals and is the last reward received in the 3DS version.
