The Mandrake Monarch is a monster that first appeared in Dragon Quest VII. It is the strongest of its family of monsters in the games it appears in.
Character
Royalty of the monster world, these dragon monarchs command a small army of creatures to do their bidding and back them up in battle. These summoned soldiers even look and sound like them, clad in the same solid armour with the same curved sword and with similar scaled, crimson skin.
