Metal wing boomerang

The metal wing boomerang is a boomerang in Dragon Quest VIII. It is the most powerful boomerang in the game.

Description

The metal wing boomerang has an attack bonus of +90 and can be equipped by the Hero and Morrie. It damages all enemies in battle, like all boomerangs, and is guaranteed to inflict 1-2 damage on metal slimes. It can only be made using the Alchemy Pot. However, one of the drawbacks to making the boomerang is that one has to sacrifice their metal king spear, as there is only one in the game. This is rectified in the 3DS version, as another metal king spear can be found in Memories Lane.
