Meteorite bracer
The Meteorite bracer, known as the shooting star bracelet[1] in Japanese, is a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series. A band from beyond the stars and past the moon, it bolsters the wearer's Agility an incredible amount.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of SalvationEdit
The Meteorite bracer doubles the wearer's Agility and can be equipped by all vocations. As half a character's Agility is factored in to the calculation for their Defence stat, the accessory indirectly increases durability as well in all versions of III. It can be found by searching the enclosure of Isis's palace.
- More bracers can be found in the Super Famicom and Game Boy Color versions of the game: the second one can be found in the well at Jipang after wishing for the 5th Treasures 'n' Trapdoors track and the third can be found in a pot on the track itself. In the Game Boy Color version, a fourth bracelet can also be found in the Ice Cave.
Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the ChosenEdit
The meteorite bracer is a prize in the Endor casino and requires 10,000 tokens (only 4,000 in the original NES version) to nab. Once again, it can be equipped by all characters. It doubles Agility as before, but no longer increases Defence in the NES version, despite Agility having the same specifications in that version as in III.
Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly BrideEdit
The meteorite bracer doubles the wearer's Agility and can be found in Gotha Castle. A second one may be purchased in the shop tiles on the bonus dungeon's T'n'T board for 6,500 gold coins. It can be equipped by all characters and all monster companions.
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of RevelationEdit
The Meteorite bracer is trickier to get in VI, requiring the Hero and party to travel to the Lower World's version of Amor once the Flying Bed is acquired. Another one is available via completing the suite dreams sidequest. It can be equipped byall characters and doubles the wearer's Agility as usual, as well as having a +15 bonus to Style.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten PastEdit
The meteorite bracer is a casino prize in the original PSX version of the game, and costs 15,000 tokens in the "Grand Slum" version of the Immigrant Town. It doubles the Agility of every character save for Kiefer and has a Style bonus of +5.
- The bracer can still be purchased as a casino prize, but due to the heavy reworking of the town in the Nintendo 3DS version, the casino at The Haven will not open until the player has sent the 15th resident there and it reaches its final evolution. This becomes available as soon as the Cathedral of Blight can be visited in the storyline.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed KingEdit
The Meteorite bracer now only grants a +50 bonus to the wearer's Agility and can be equipped by all characters. Princess Minnie will bestow one to the party once they present her with 60 Mini medals, but more can be made using the Alchemy Pot. Another bracer can be found in Memories Lane in the Nintendo 3DS version. The bracer can also be used to create an Über falcon blade.

The forging guide Orichalcum: Ore Blimey contains the recipe for the meteorite bracer. It is received as a reward for completing the fifth and final Wheel of Harma trial at the summit of Angri-La within 40 turns or less.

The quick recipe for the Meteorite bracer can be received from King Flaminio in exchange for 15 mini medals onboard the Stonecloud, while the classic and luxury recipes for the Meteorite bracer can be dropped rarely by Type G0s.
Dragon Quest Heroes II: Twin Kings and the Prophecy's EndEdit
The Meteorite bracer reduces the charge time of skills and spells by 50%, but also increases their MP cost by 50%. When it is fully upgraded, it reduces the charge time by 100% and also grants the wearer a +9 bonus to maximum MP and increases the rate of building Tension by 10%. Meteorite bracers are dropped by Great sabrecats and Silver sabrecats or can be exchanged for 10 mini medals once.
Dragon Quest BuildersEdit
Meteorite bracers can be crafted in a furnace using the recipe of ten gold and five silver. It increases movement speed when worn.
