Murdaw
Murdaw (ムドー romanized as Mudou, Mudo in fan translations) appears as the primary antagonist in Dragon Quest VI. He terrorizes the world, and any who challenge him never return. As soon as the game begins, the player character, Carver and Milly go to fight Murdaw. Upon reaching him, he banishes all of them to the Dream World.
Murdaw is one of the Maou Clan, and is the first of the clan you will fight. He is the seal on the Dharma Shrine and defeating him allows you access. Murdaw is fought three times.
He appears as a Legacy Boss in Dragon Quest IX.
