The Nature family or Plant family (Japanese Kanji: 植物 Hiragana: しょくぶつ Romanji: Shokubutsu) refers to the type of monsters Dragon Quest series that take the form of plants, flowers, fruits, fungi, as well as more fey-like creatures such as faeries and woodland spirits. In certain games, it also includes bugs and sometimes even aquatics.
