Pale pearl is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. It is a beautiful white pearl favoured by upper-class ladies that is used as a crafting ingredient.

Pale pearl is used as a material for crafting some weapons, armour, and furniture. It can be picked up from sparkly spots or dropped by various monsters such as Teeny sanguinis, Bunicorns, Candy cats, Shell slimes, Man o' wars, Scarfishes, and Squid kids.

Pale pearls can be purchased for 800 gold each from the pearl shop at Lonalulu after the Tentacular is defeated or dropped by Shell slimes, Squid kids, Rotten eggsoskeletons, Steel sirens, as well as their vicious and malicious counterparts. It can be sold for 200 gold. Pale pearl is used in the following recipes for the Fun-Size Forge:

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight BelowEdit

Pale pearl can be dropped by Genie sanguinis and Demons-at-arms or received from King Flaminio in exchange for 5 Mini medals. It can be used in the quick recipes for the Pink pearl ring and Venus' tear, as well as the classic recipe for the Ruby of protection in the Alchemy Pot or sold for 425 gold. Three pale pearls, as well as two lumps of faerie fluff, are required to complete Quest #15: No Stone Unturned 3.

Dragon Quest Heroes II: Twin Kings and the Prophecy's EndEdit

Pale pearls are used as a material for improving various accessories or sold for 150 gold. It can be dropped by Hoods, Silver sabrecats, Teeny sanguinis, and Freezing fogs.
