Party Pooper, also known as Clean Sweep, is a recurring crowd control technique in the Dragon Quest series. It swipes at a group of enemies with a polearm weapon, much like a whip. The skill can also be used by certain monsters by swinging their tails or limbs at the party.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit]

Party Pooper makes its debut as an enemy-only skill used by Gracos. It deals 75% of his normal attack damage to the entire party by mowing them down with his trident. It is possible for the party to replicate the technique by using Follow Suit.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit]

Party Pooper returns once again as an enemy-only skill that can be used by Gracos and his descendant Gracos V. Once again, it inflicts 75% of their normal damage to the entire party.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit]

Known as Clean Sweep in this game, it can be learned by the Hero by investing 45 points into his Spears skill and costs 0 MP to use.
