The Rockbomb is a monster vocation in Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past.

Description[edit]

The Rockbomb is a giant boulder with a devilish grin. The Rockbomb gives a great increase to resilience and elemental resistance, though the rest of its stats take a dramatic drop, especially agility. Despite these drops, the Rockbomb offers incredible resistances for a beginner class; at rank 8 it will grant a weak resistance to all elements but zap and earth, and a strong resistance to every status ailment save Drain Magic.

Monster Heart[edit]

Rockbomb hearts can be won in the Lucky Panel game in the Casino. It can also be obtained from battle by defeating Rockbombs in the Excavated Cave and the Ballymolloy area after the events of the Cathedral of Blight
