The sandstorm spear is a recurring weapon in the Dragon Quest franchise. It casts Dazzle when used as a tool in battle.

The sandstorm spear has an attack bonus of +67 and is only available by mixing a Partisan with Saint's ashes through alchemy. It can be sold for 5,300 Gold Coins and can be used for the following:
- Creating the Ring of truth with a Gold ring through alchemy.
- Give to Dodgy Dave in Pickham to obtain the Happy hat.
