Effect Permanently raises the strength of a single party member.

A Seed of Strength is a seed that increases the strength of whoever eats it. It can be found in treasure chests, monsters can sometimes drop it, and looking in various item places (drawers, pots, bags) may help you seeds of strength. They cannot be found at any store, and give the eater 1-3 strength.

Due to text restrictions in the Gameboy Color remake, the seed of strength was renamed to STRseed in that version.

The seeds are carried by Boss Trolls, Ursa minors, Rampages, and Ursa Majors at a rate of 164, and by Healslimes, Mermen, Dragon zombies, Infernal serpents, Skelegons, and Jackanapes at 1128.

Xenlon carries a seed as well, at 132, but fighting her is too time consuming to be worth the trouble for collecting kernels.

Found in a pot in the Tower of Alexandria, in a chest in the Maella Abbey region, a bag in Pickham, a cabinet in Baccarat, a chest in Princess Minnie's castle, a cabinet in Argonia, a cabinet in Arcadia, a pot in Empycchu, and part of the reward for completing the Troll's Maze in Argonia. Mimics and Red Horn will drop them 1/256 times (1/512 for stealing), and Geyzer will drop one 100% of the time.

It can be mixed with the gold ring through alchemy to make a strength ring and also be sold for 15 Gold Coins.
