Seer's Retreat is a house in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.

It is the home of an old man in the Kingdom of Argonia who once served in Argonia Castle.

Story

Years after retiring due to losing his eye sight, a former Seer of Argonia resigned himself to a house by a Mystical Spring. He also gave residency to a Slime, Mud mannequin and Dracky.

Years later a guard from Castle Trodain and his party who met the Seer nearby while at the Spring came for into on how to restore Argonia's Magic mirror to it's powerful state.
